A Home for the Winter

Until this point, my home on the internet has been somewhat of a conundrum. I’ve felt split between a fairly antiquated blog from my days of youth and my more recent portfolio (davidappleyard.org). This was undoubtedly never meant to be a site to showcase work, hence the .org domain name, but has stayed that way for the past few years. Now that I am starting to move into online business on a more full-time basis, a new home is needed.

With the .com variation of my name providing a resource for those learning English (certainly a worthy use of the domain), davidappleyard.net seems to be the obvious place for me to set camp - for now at least. I’ll be tweaking the layout, deciding upon content and unpacking boxes over the next few weeks. I’m looking forward to finally having a permanent place of my own.
